So far, it's been the World Cup of Underdogs, which is actually kind of great to see. A lot of favorites have faltered in the first week. 
My fantasy bracket is already blown apart and we're not even to the knockout round yet.

Underdogs have had good defense and, in a few cases, good offense as well.👍 The power teams, in some respects, came into the tournament with too much arrogance, underestimating their "minor" competition. In Germany's case, they failed to adapt their format to work better against Mexico.
The Argentines were god-awful against a brilliant Croatia today... seems they forgot the "there's no I in team" mantra; simply not a passionate, cohesive team, nevermind the keeper blunders and unsportsmanlike conduct.
