I got this idea from another thread. Beige is definitely a love it or hate it color. Let's see them. I'll start.

i think i would consider my 84 named Wilson to be beige. sure is better than that turd/diarrhea brownish orange color that is out there.

Ah, you must mean Asuan Brown. My first van was that colour...I remember it fondly. Looks great after a wash and wax.

My wife and I have always called this "old man tan". Beige by any other name is still pretty when it's displayed like this. Laughing Although I must admit if I could pick any color it would probably be the Assuan Brown.

Love them, though I love the Mexico Beige or whatever it was called on the late bays the best.

This one is especially sweet!

Nope, nothing changed... well, actually, RA08s have changed since then... Might've washed it before the photo...

And my van has hauled ladders, lumber, t-posts... but never on the outside like that! You'll never find me going to town on my van with a sawzall... well, ok, maybe for a minor mod Twisted Evil

On a car lot the name of the color is "No Sale Beige"

With a nice set of wheels, and a little fluffing and buffing the color of sand can be made to look nice--

I myself had a new 76 Monte Carlo the same color as the last westy pictured with a half white vinyl & top white interior.
You get used to it after awhile --

It's OK

Terry

Some how I can picture you in a Monte Carlo with a few Vacuums in the back seat and Stainless pipes sticking out of the trunk and a "High Lift" style jack bolted to the front bumper .

Fellow beige owner here. I didn't like the color of mine when I bought it but had a change of heart. One day I was climbing in Joshua Tree and noticed the van parked in the distance. I thought to myself, "Hey that van looks nice in the desert." Very Happy
