My compliments on your work!
Question- my first time doing this, how did you get the window cranks off, and put back on? |

on the 73 you peel/pop off the cover and there is a screw. the cover does not come all the way off, just hangs on the opener, but enough room to get a screwdriver in there I used a popsicle stick last time so I did not mar up the cover. |

That vapor barrier is missing the inner flap |
Does anybody here know for certain if the factory installed the flaps on early bays without the flow through ventilation vents? I have never gotten a 100% certain answer. |
yes. I can verify that on 69, 70, 71 they had flaps. never parted a 68 so I cant say for sure |
I know this thread is old, but I came across it during research and found this detail unconfirmed...
My 68 did NOT have the flap. My original plastic was held on by some sort of black gooey adhesive. The plastic was brittle and a lot was gone, but there was no extra flap.
Sounds like a good idea though, so I'll be including one when I replace the plastic liner.
By the same logic, would a flap for that lower opening also be prudent? I know that's where my panels got the most water damage. _________________ ~Kevin
