Last summer in the forum there was a thread going about installing a Tach in the empty hole rt. of the speedo, during the cource of the thread I mentioned I had a mounting ring I bought from Bus Boys to install a 3 1/2 in. tach in that hole,if someone wanted the mounting ring I would send it to them for the price of shipping as I had decided to go w/ guages from a 912 so I had no use for the part. I was talking to a fellow Bus Driver from the Carolinas and was ready to send it when it mysteriously dissapeared! After X-mas I was cleaning out a toy box at the bottom guess what I found? So if that guy out there still needs it send me an E-Mail. Damn I just realized I can go through the old threads to find this guy. I have to go to work if somone wants to look it up for me and post it great,if not I'll search tonight. Do'nt want to waste all this good typing so I'll post this anyway. _________________ Give a man a fish and he knows where to get fish.Teach a man to fish and you loose a customer. |

That's the 1! I left the guy a message in his box. I felt really bad when it turned up missing and I had to tell him it was lost I figured he would think I was a flake and sold it to someone. _________________ Give a man a fish and he knows where to get fish.Teach a man to fish and you loose a customer. |

Breadloaf, the 914 stuff looks great! Don't feel bad on the missing part, they all switch boxes and hide overnight. I swear nothing is ever where I left it. They just want to mess with your mind. In my case they have succeeded. _________________ ~~~~~~~~

Yo breadloaf, if the other guy doens't need the mounting ring any more, I'll take it. I have a tach waiting to be installed. |
