Mad The turn signal switch (lever) broke.
How do I get the plastic casing off the steering column to get to this area?

What year bus do you have? The later one just pulls out of the top after you remove the steering wheel nut with a 24mm socket and remove the four small screws holding the turn signal assembly in.
