Size is around 155x30x40 or so and 3 kgs

My brother was getting ridiculous shipping quotes from his little town, hopefully something more reasonable from a bigger city.

Styles change over time. A visor would look great with what was known a few decades back as "West Coast" rear view mirrors. Luckily, you can still find those for your Vanagon, from the VW LT.

While I've considered a visor for my Vanagon for several years, I think I'll leave the West Coasts in fond memory of my FJ40 bobtail pickup.

Anyone know where this one is made?
I have been secretly wanting one similar. I have some related plans ....

Quite common in Norway, don't know the exact manufacturer though. I have one on my Multivan Syncro:

Also, here is a pic from the Norwegian accessory brochure:

Thanks OddN.

Could you post a photo of the attachment details? I'd like to try and fabricate something similar.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the pictures. Looks like there is a steel tube under the fiberglas? visor spanning pillar mount to pillar mount?

Yes. A square steel tube about 20x20mm. And visor is only attached to the roof with the two end brackets.
