Mark yer calendars for one of the best "all free" all air-cooled events in the northeast [or at least in Jersey].

July 13th 2014 from 9am till ????

Last year we had over 100 cars and as the flier says, free food, drink, music, and fun. Stop on by for a kick-back, kick-ass little Volkswagen get-together.

For more info, call 732-805-0907 or visit http://www.foreigncarwerks.com/show-n-shine.html

Seeing as how this is practically in my backyard, pencil me in as usual. I'm hoping to get my camper and the bug there.

No, we really don't have the room. This is basically a free BBQ, with free music, food and drink with a car show of about 100 cars thrown in. It's a fun event, and if the weather is anything like it was this weekend, it will be an awesom event.

Hopefully I'll get my bus back tomorrow and if I'm not too exhausted from my band's gig on Saturday I think I'll head on down.

Great show today! Saw a lot of really unique cars I've never seen before, along with some freshly restored split window Beetles that were beautifully done by Chris Vallone and Nelson Roger. Thanks to everyone who put this event together and to everyone who drove up through the early morning rain and hung in there for the otherwise beautiful day.

We did have a great turnout, thanks for everyone at Foreign Car Werks and all the members of the Central Jersey Society for making this such a success. We had quite a mix of cars, everything from the first ragtop cold in the US [1950], to one of the last epilog edition convertibles [1980]. If you shot some pictures, post your faves.

I think this was the best Show & Shine to date. Everybody seemed to have great time. I know I did.

Despite the threat of rain, and downpour for an hour or so, the turnout was the largest ever. Thanks to all the made it out.

This is the event I attended 10 years ago that introduced me to the Central Jersey Volkswagen Society. I've been a member ever since and wouldn't miss it for anything. All the members should be proud and should do everything and anything to make sure it lives on. Thanks Billy and the crew at Foreign Car Werks for welcoming us to your facility.

As I told Billy yesterday, "This is the Nicks Burger of the East."
