I love gas heaters:
1982, 2.0 air-cooled, Ca., (gak-almost rid of the Ca. crap): there is no power to my gas heater. I have reset the safety switch-there is no power to the switch either. My Bentley-love it/hate it-indicates a 16A main fuse in an inline holder to the right of the fuse panel. I cannot seem to locate an inline fuse holder anywhere. Any clues as to where I might find it?

There are two supplementary fuse holders attached to the right side of main fuse panel for the heater, about 1 " square.

My 82 Diesel had extra heater components like relays, fuses, etc behind the map pocket cutout on the far right of the dash, tucked up underneath. Worth a shot to check around there too.

Thanks-I know about the 2 small extra fuse holders. Those a shown in the Bentley, it also show a separate, screw together inline fuse holder which the manual also says is located to the right of the fuse panel. I did play around with the thing and when using the timer, if I pushed the re-set button on the safety switch, the blower came on but when I released the switch is shut off.
This is my 5th gas heater, I have never spent much time on the except to clear a plugged fuel pump. I think that I will try to find someone nearby-within 100 miles or so-that knows and understands these things. I can see myself running down the street with my ass on fire as the result of trying to mrs with it myself. Then again, it might be fun to try to fix it. Need a manual just for this heater.
