I found an abandoned bus today and plan on taking it home tomorrow. It needs a new engine, but also needs a new engine pan (sorry if it is the wrong terminology). I can't say exactly what year it was, but it was a low rust bay window (not a camper) with moonroof. The moonroof will need some repair also if anyone knows a place that has parts. Thanks!![/img]

Post photos once you have it. From the descriptions provided, it's difficult to understand what you need.

since this was an abandoned bus, how will you get a marketable title to it?

For the engine you may have some work ahead of you. With that apron cut it looks like someone had a non-VW powerplant in there last. I'd guess it's a '78 or '79. Post the M-Code and we'll know a lot more.
