Here in the States we screw antlers on as a warning to the young ones.

In all seriousness, sorry about your van, hope it's sorted quickly

Nah, I'm at Bryan Park every weekday at 0530 to let the dog run. White vehicles stand out at that hour. Looks sharp with those wheels. I'll have mine on eventually.

I've always liked white T3s. If I remember correctly I have owned 4, but sadly I have only 1 at the moment. Its an -89 syncro doka with a Karossen alu canopy (swedish). It has original paint, rust, dents, no exhaust, a stuck rear door and a few other issues to be sorted. But it only has 93000 km on the clock and I love it! Double difflocks, tristar rear sliders, padded dash, coffee table, GL carpets, xenon Hellas, full Powerflex bushing setup, westy syncro towbar and a few other add-ons.

The other three were a Tristar syncro (alpine white), a US Vanagon Weekender and a suitably worn Reimo camper.

Nice collection of vans, taigagreen, love the wheels on the weekender, and total Doka envy!

Thats a good looking van, I like the black around the windows, nicely done.
Whats that little filler piece behind the front bumper?
I think we need a 'glamour shoot" more pics Very Happy

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks.
That's a added piece. I know, it looks like abrupt ending. Wink

These two Pics should give you some Idiea.

Compliments. I absolutely love this look... AR rims on syncro, especially Doka. Extra credit that they are the rarer AR style (straight spoke rather than split bowed spoke). If I ever add height to any of my vans I will be putting this rim on.

Cheers.

Thanks. I like the first-gen Allroad a lot, but really don't like the double-spoked wheels Very Happy I have the same wheels in 17" on the syncro westy. They have the right offset and just need machining the centre bore to fit. The doka isn't lifted btw. Tires are BFG AT 235/70-16 and rear end of front arches have been slightly modded. 16" are ET16 and the 17" are ET25.

I'm just a 2WD peasant, so running that aggressive wheel/tire would definitely result in some significant clearance / rub issues. Smile

Solution? I need a syncro!!!

With brand spanky new tires, took The Ghost Ship on her longest voyage in 13 years! 40 miles! This was before her current spa treatments had started.
