About to install new brake lines and wondering if anyone has advice for straightening the main (longest) brake line, which comes bent in 3 (for shipping, I assume).

Thanks,

Mike

I have a tubing bender so I'd use it. You can use your hands but be careful not to kink it.

It doesn't have to be perfectly straight.

I did mine by hand, without a bender, I recall, be very patient and take your time. It went pretty well.
God luck!

I used a large flat table and gently worked my way up and down rolling it like you would a rolling pin. Never got them perfectly straight, but close enough to start putting in the other bends...

If you fill the tubing with sand or bb's before straightening it helps keep it from collapsing.
