Tried and I didn't find (DISCLAIMER: I am lame!)
Anyone have photos of their portable fridge and how they fasten it down for safety during transport? I hate to think of the damage that would do in a wreck _________________ Don't harsh my mellow...

Yep... GW sells the eye bolts that replace both of your seatbelt bolts. Then I use heavy duty buckle straps. That sucka ain't goin nowhere.
Btw... Enjoyed meeting you at Bob's place. Hope you had a fun ride down the 101 and got to do The Avenue of the Giants. Cheers! _________________ 1990 Multivan - "Ohana"

Ditto, was quite a surprise... the ave was a cool spectacle.
Shortly after getting back onto 101 Brandon broke an axle
We hung out in the general region as he and others played "Dialing for parts". I eventually had to leave got home around 7pm (we left just after 10am) the rest of the gang got home around 1am !!! _________________ Don't harsh my mellow...

I'm going to get the Engle transit bracket for mine. Bolts to the feet and then bolts to the floor and can be removed when needed. For now I have a NRS strap around it. While I haven't rolled the van yet, it's been rock solid through 'roads' with rocks as big as basketballs... _________________ 1986 Canadian Syncro Westy TDI - 1989 Syncro Single Cab - 2001 Audi S4 - 1981 VW Caddy ABA - 1980 VW Caddy EV - 1973 VW T-181 |
