I’m aware they’re missing... I don’t think you can edit posts from more than a few days ago. |
Maybe check with Everett and see what might be done. |
If you are using google chrome, there is a plug-in that fixes the Photobucket issue (for the reader, not the original poster or anyone else)
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobuc...aedg?hl=en
better than nothing anyways |
Well this may be handy in fixing it as then I’ll know what image to try to replace. Thanks. I spoke to Everett and he’s allowed me to go back to edit... I’ll see if I can set aside some time to do this. It looks like a lot of work. Ugh! Nancy, why did you suggest this? Lol. _________________ Charmaine

It'll remind you of how far you've come. 😋
Thanks for making the effort! |

Awwww. Don’t worry! I’m still here! I am well.
Doing lots behind the scenes with court stuff as that’s taken most of my spare time lately. But I’m still plugging away!
Got some tires on order... I decided to go with pie crust black wall bias plies after having it beat into me that whitewalls weren’t correct for the car
It’s been -40 here (-40 is the same in both c° and f°!). So we’ve been hiding inside.
There’s not a lot for me to do right now with the car - I guess I could send my speedo out for rebuild. My heart bulb holders are getting new phenolic insulators made, my wheel covers are still at the chrome shop. I need to install the hubcap clips yet but I was thinking of doing that after the tires are installed.
So not a lot really to update but I’m definitely working on her a lot I tried to go back and replace the broken photo links but was overwhelmed as there are hundreds of photos to upload. I began uploading them but it took a lot longer than planned _________________ Charmaine

I'm glad to hear that things continue to move forward. And good choice on the blackwalls. _________________ Gone but not forgotten: 1950 Hoffman split (restored in 1966) - another 1950 Hoffman split (restored in 1996) |

Baha thanks! I have a good group of people keeping me on track
Been working on the car diligently these past couple weeks.
Most of my interior has arrived and expecting the remaining portion to arrive today.
Just revisiting the whole glass etching thing so working on that right now.
Me speedo arrived back after being rebuilt in Germany a couple weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier with it. I was more than impressed with the speed and cost, as well as the quality of work that I received from VW Museum.
My heart taillight and license light holders also came back from having new insulators put in and they are also a thing of beauty. Thanks Josh!

Darn. But, an easy fix. Just some rivets. Worse things have definitely happened lol. Thanks for the catch, better to fix now. _________________ Charmaine

So much is happening! Things are going well! Had some setbacks but have turned things around and made some strides in the right direction
Just working on some wiring and interior pieces at the moment.
Sorry, I know, boring update. I’ll try to get some pics for you soon. _________________ Charmaine
