Christian,

i can't tell from your picture, but ATE, and many OLDer VW mechanics recommend the use of ATE Blue Brake paste for the assembly of all brake cylinders.
see: https://www.ate.de/media/2317/technical_datasheet_brake_cylinder_paste.pdf

Yes sir, the ATE Bremszylinderpastn is a important tool in my shop, it also works fine on other rubber parts.

10-4 is American trucker slang (or more formally, a "10 code") known as "Okay" or "That sounds good."

Patina Seat back in the car to vent the brake System (i try silicone Brake liquid), a great feeling to sit there after all the years and the brake worked.

Playing around with some larger rims but don´t work.

disassembled the steering box, don´t look that bad as i thinked...

I don´t know if i connected the wires correctly to the
alternator regulator, can anyone confirm it please?

Nice pump!

You probably know this fact but that is a 54-early '55 "wavy top" fuel pump.
It works the same of course but harder to find a nice 54-55 pump than a '57 pump

The pump rebuild looks good. Question though, did you level the mating surfaces between the diaphragm? When I rebuild any fuel pump, I always machine level the mating surfaces. I rebuilt two 36HP pumps last week and found both faces pretty warped from people over tightening the screws.

Off his topic but:
Check the mating surface against the bakelite piece too
A LOT of 36hp pumps are warped there.
