Good question, i tried some different rims, but the most of the tires rubbing in the rear wheel arch, also biger tires would look cool, but noting of that funny stuff is allowed here, so i am still searching rims...
some more little jobs done:
Put together the rear centre brake light, with old rivets and some tricks:
killed a nos glass.
i have some different style brake lense chrome cover, i think the flat one is ok.
Added a emergency flasher switch under the dash in an existing hole (old Bosch switch with splitwindow knob)
buy some nos wiper base and installed the wiper blades, poor fitting...
repaired the horn: clened the opening switch, adjust it, sandblasted ant paint.
the old horn wire was dead, could not save the alu wire around. take the alu wire from a old Barndoor loom and build a new steering wire loom, what a messy work... a bubble growed on my finger after that work...
installed the steering wheel.
1000 little things left todo...

The esteemed Neil Pickett did those excellent horn wire reproductions, I snagged a pair of them back then. His work took him to Europe (Poland) and I think he passed along the how-to process to someone else (can't remember who) to continue making them. Anyone?

Easy E (Evan) was making them for a while...at least selling them. They are/were excellent, and I too snagged some then: great product.
Wrapping manually? You, Sir, are an example of how patience prevails! Truck’s looking better and better every time I check back on progress. Cheers. _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz

A neat solution Christian. Does that relay box allow the semaphores to work with the extra flashing lights you added? I have a similar system in my bus but not the near bracket. I feel I need to follow your lead!
Thank you. Dave |

Yes that is my plan, i want the semaphores flashing, we would see if i can make it work.. |
That is fairly easy as long as the turnsignal switch switches the un-pulsed 6/12V. If not you will need to add some relays (one for each side) To separate the switch form the pulsed signal.
Then the un-pulsed signal needs to go to solenoids of the semaphores. I am not sure about the legislation in Austria, but in Germany the light in the semaphore needs to flash with the turnsignals, this means you will need to rewire that.
If you need more details, let me know. I have help others with this setup before. _________________ - Michael

Thanks, yes, that is my plan, i want to use flashing led bulbs, so the coil can work normal, i will see when i am at this point.
I ordered a new rear Bumper, i was not very happy with the bent one i had, so worth a try to make that fit, i had to cut it in the corners and ends to make it fit:
Some new Reflectors from Splitpartsunlimited arrived, i like them realy much.
