Be aware that there are two different size scripts-------it got smaller in the early 60's.

A local glass shop should be able to cut some 1/8" mirror to match the piece you have, try to get some tinted mirror is grey, clear mirror will be too bright.

Is the glass still in one piece? You can have it re-silvered. I had my rear view mirror done. Turned out perfect. Call Jan at A Moment In Time (620)399-8765

Alright, thanks I will try a glass shop.
Unfortunately the glass is broken, so fixing is wouldn't be a option.
