Found this 1970 Ghia Vert in VA ....VA has a lot of Vw's !
spent the day cleaning it up , long way to go

Nice going. Too bad we can't get completely away from "East coast rust" looking at the rockers. Hope there is not more hidden rust. Do you think you can still get it running (brakes, engine) this summer?

I know a guy in CT that has a vert in his garage , body off since the 80's ....he swears they came with rust , lol .
Yeah , rockers and some pan work , not the worst I've trailered home ha.
This Ghia was 1 of 4 I bought from him  ......he wanted to sell the whole lot ....2 of the cars are 69 coupes ( really rough ) and the last is a 69 vert , needs pans / rockers as well . |

67ctBug , what are you doing in the Ghia forum ? Be careful , these Ghias sneak up on you ...
63notch , thanks , I don't think I'm selling the 69 vert , great year , I have a couple Bugs and a few Ghia coupes I might be listing soon . |
