Does anyone know where these plugs for the 85-91 Vanagon can be purchased from?

It needs to be able to plug into this....

Im not sure but I do know that Bostig uses them on their "new" wire harness'. If nobody else chimes in, you might ask if they will sell you one?

that looks similar to a trailer connector. Scroll through this list and you'll see some that might work.

Probably NLA, as the big suppliers don't have them. This might get you started:

Part can be seen on this page:

PM me if you want to buy just one or two: I have some used ones.

Tyco Amp - 925264 is what your looking for. That is the female plug,
As you know its NLA from VW, I was able to get a few new ones straight from www.te.com. Just ask for a sample, I don't know far my luck will run Smile

My 1.8T harness's I build need them too. But my used supply is getting low. Hope that helps!

Paul

Thanks for all the tips guys.

I feel bad every time I chop one off what once was a good used uncut harness.

Perhaps this is something a guy with a 3d printer could scan and print?

if you used a pin remover and pulled the pins/wires out of the plug
would they (the oe pins) fit into a molex 8 pole plug? would require work for each side but might solve a supply issue.
