My Dad had a Nixon for president button on the visor of his 68 Bus. I'd love to have that old shit back.

I've got an old "I like Ike" pin for my '55 sunroof, and for my 21 window, a bumper sticker that says:

"don't change dicks in the middle of a screw,
vote for Nixon in '72"

But that one doesn't actually get attached to the bumper, it's never been used, so I just lay it on the middle seat if I am displaying the bus.
I got a ton of old original EMPI stickers from the East Coast dealer for EMPI, but thry are quite collectible now, so I don't run them on anything.

I love the old travel decals. Had loads of them on my '63 Riviera. Working on collecting a bunch for my '67 Riviera. As for the old buttons...I know a couple local antique shops who have scads of them!!

I would like to start collecting stickers again. When I was a kid I would get stickers from places we went and I put all of them on the outside of my bedroom door. One time I changed rooms and moved the door. Finally my dad scraped them all off. What a shame. I would like to gather up some cool stickers and make a sticker table like that one camper bus had. Of course I need a camper bus first.

Islip???? Home of the "demolition Derby"! I was born and raised there. Larry mendlson owned the racetrack and drag strip. The strip was only 1/8 mile I think!------------- Sorry had to jump in! Aloha! "Islip High, 1966" (eye-slip) NOT (is-slip)

Actor, if you're thinking travel decals...scour those antique stores!! I've been hitting them as often as I can, and there are few out there! Confused

I'm more into collecting just funny stickers I see around shows and stores and stuff. Anybody who sees my bus could tell this pretty easily, though. Very Happy

You can usually find old travel stickers on eBay. Search luggage stickers or travel decals.

Every four years I dig out my Nixon/Agnew bumper sticker and tape it to the rear window. Fits my 72 just fine. I also have a Rockefeller for President sticker I use from time to time.

Yes, it was actually handed to me by a young lady working for the McGovern campaign. I've saved it all these years, at first, because if I had run it, my dad ( a staunch come hell or high water Nixon man) would not have let me park my car at our home and then because I just never got around to using it after the election, and never bothered to toss it away.
