I bought a 56 oval striker plate from Ricky, and even though I was concerned he did not accept Paypal, I sent him a check. I informed by email that I had broken my striker plate while out on the road, and had to hold the door shut when driving home.
He prepared my package, and I even think he mailed it before he got my check! I received it in perfect condition only 4 days after sending him payment (from CA to PA!!)
It's good to have this kind of VDubber on theSamba!

I had similar concerns about sending a money order but the parts (as advertised) arrived a few days after Rick got the MO.
