i dont know why i said powerhouse...just sounded right...
POSTPONED UNTIL SPRING

7:30 pm-12am (or whenever)
on this date
November the 8th, a Saturday evening
there will be a gathering of busses from both portlandia, and seattle area...the greatter seattle meets their little brother, Portland. 
hoping to get at least 15 total, but would love to see more. no idea how good the food or brews are, but the parking lots the right size and just to the south end theres a nice long stretch of grass for parking in a line. 
I called the pub and asked if we can stay in the parking lot overnight....if so it can become a campout for those of us with campers, so you arnt driving 2 hours home after enjoying a few.  i got a definately likely from a manager, but im calling the owner tomorrow morning to confirm and such.
thoughts, suggestions, comments?
anyone think they can make it? wont be worth it if only two people make it...but if we can get three....
may try to organize a carabus from the seattle end so whoever wants to join me, lets get together!

Doh! I'd love to go, but I will just be returning that day from a trip to Mexico. A bit too much travel in one day.

im fairly flexible also...should we move this one week later, so dale and sunnydog can make it? its still in the planning stages, so a date can still be changed.
would that make it possible for you both?
thatd be the 15th evening, 16th morning if camping

Sounds like a fun time. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it though. My son has his school drama performances both weekends so I'll be helping out at the shows. Not sure of the schedule yet.
As a side note, if they we're amenable to working/being available on a Saturday, a Seattle/Portland meeting at Avery's would be awesome. It's not too far from Centralia, certainly closer for the PDX crowd. I'd certainly set aside some $$ for that a group salvage expedition.

I like the idea, I support the idea. With that out of the way .. I hate to say it, but unless this can be pushed back at least a couple months (beyond Holiday Bonus/Fat Man With A Beard season) I won't be able to make it.
My wife hasn't been working in over a year, and my secondary source if income -- which was "fun" money for anything beyond bare necessities -- came to an end on Monday. With no warning. So until I find some other extra income, my wife finds a job, or we win the lottery .. I'm out. |

got permission this morning for sure from the owner, mike.
we have permission to sleep in the parking lot on a saturday night!
im seeing the holidays being quite the brick wall here. how about we move this to spring time?
ill bring the topic back up then and see how schedules fly and such.
