#1: Non VW bus high/low beam switch
#2: Electrical side of the ignition switch
#3: Altitude compensator or fuel pressure regulator

Not bad! But #3 is the adjustable vacuum switch that is part of the deceleration valve used on VW type 3 with automatic (possibly), VW 412 with automatic (for sure)....VW bus decel with automatic.....I dont know. Ray

It's used for the 4th gear vacuum advance cut off on a 72 bus Wink

I think this is from my 72 and I found it in a box of parts and I’m not sure what it is for. It is a very specific rubber connector/ joint on it. The rubber end has a plastic tube piece on the one side too

Stick your head in the engine compartment and look up, it joins the 2 tank vent lines and connects to the canister.

Thanks! Everything that wasn’t behind the fire wall in my bus’s engine compartment had been ripped out when I got it and was fire damaged so I had no clue. Thanks for the 72 EVAP link, bookmarked it for when I get to that point.

I have #3 in my 73 automatic. It hasn’t been hooked up in years.
