Is that a bottle of wine on the ladder? |
Most likely sparkling water. Germans drink a lot of that. Being out at ambient temperature is normal, since they get a sore throat just seeing any beverage coming out of the refrigerator due to it being "unhealthily cold". When I worked for VW in Wolfsburg in the early 1980's and had lunch in the company cafeterias, I'd ask for ice cubes to cool down the room-temperature drinks. The attendant would look at me, say that they don't have ice cubes, and that such cold drinks are unhealthy for you. You'd go to a bar and have a non-alcoholic drink (when you are designated driver) and the bartender might put in a single cube. I'd ask for more, and the bartender would begrudgingly comply but look at you with a frown- "give the customer what he wants" even if that might almost clear out his current batch.? |

Awesome photo.
The wiper blades look weird to me - like they are too short?
It caught my eye because I thought it was weird they had not self-parked. |
I think they are lifted off the glass and pointed out toward the camera making them look short. _________________ Prosit!

The Notchback above appears to be a 64-65 model from the front beak so what color is it?
The photo coloring could be off but it looks Orange.
Clearly not Ruby Red since her jacket is very red. |
Looks like it's a sunroof, too!
I tried color adjustments; this is as red as I can get the car. It makes her coat more magenta-ish, rather than pure red, so maybe this is close? But those leather coats start looking too red here, and I like the rest of the original photo tint much more than my adjusted version. So I am guessing repaint? Rare.

Its a repaint so God only knows what color it is. Look at the passenger door through the windshield - White or maybe seasand originally. _________________
