It's a car that you're not likely to forget seeing since it has fish painted on the side. |

I used to have them as screen savers when Webshots was around. We had it set up to change photos every day, and those 2 (and a couple of others in this thread) would be the "photo of the day". _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

According to this website ---> https://hookedonhouses.net/2008/01/31/how-mod-the-venturo-modular-home/ that is the "groovy Venturo modular home". The same pic in the post above is seen at that website. The homes were first made available in 1971 which fits in with the '71 or later Type 3. I can't say I would want to stay at a place like that without window blinds after dark; critters like deer and squirrels and owls would be able to see what you are doing. |

Sorry, a little late to this thread. So these type 34 were made in the same factory as Karmann Ghia's and what looks like 911 Porsche's? Would that have been the Karmann factory?
I don't know much about Type 34's years of manufacturing, but first year of the 911 body style was 63 model year. _________________ Prosit!

Yep, the T34 is a Karmann. 901 production (not the protypes) started 9/64 in the Reutter factory, even though the 356 was still being produced. Karmann didn't start making 901 bodies until '66 (I don't know the month) and used a chassis starting with 4 instead of 3 or 5 like Reutter
funny because both my Karmann's were silver, and I'm looking at a silver 914 now... Just need a silver 635csi to round out the Karmann experience
