ya i have a bottle of touch up paint. i just adjusted the hood and deck lid a few days ago so i didnt paint them yet. also have to do the door screws.

I'm in a similar situation, I bought a 66 that was mostly disassembled and most of the parts were in boxes and cans. I've been putting it back together for the last three years, almost done though! My only goof was thinking the passenger footrest panel was scrap metal (it was covering a large hole in the pan) so I pitched it after replacing the pans. When I received my new rubber mats from WW, I then realized what I had tossed in the bin a year earlier!

A couple little things...
1) The visors are swapped R & L. The longer staff should reach over the longer end of the mirror.

2) The proper square weave carpet kits don't come to a point near the passenger's right knee (and driver's left). You may find the need to trim your padding down a little to accommodate. Also, since the heater channels had no padding originally, you may have some adjusting to do when installing the carpets- especially around the heater floor ducts.

3)The cardboard trunk liner can be bent into a square where it reaches the front of the tank. There should be fold creases where it makes the bend. I've never seen one that wraps up over the wiring like that. If it were mine, I'd like a clean, original wiring cover up there and the liner cut down accordingly- that way you don't have to pull the liner to work on anything behind there.

headliner and the rest of the upholstery is going to be done by city glass and upholstery in tacoma. hitest thanks for the info on the sun visors, i didnt even notice they were different lengths lol. for the trunk liner, there is a plastic wire cover that is held on by two nuts that is behind the cardboard liner. that is why it is curved like that.

the car is being picked up today to go to city glass and upholstery to have the rest of the interior done. we should be getting it back to finish up a few little things after city glass and upholstery is done with it.

That sure don't look like my 63 sitting out in the garage. The only thing I saw that looked the same as mine was those brown boxes.
