Well, I'd be up for the bus run, but now am not sure what to take. I just sold the '72 Sportsmobile that was not quite ready in time for last year (it was not really ready until about a month ago, actually). That would have been perfect.
Maybe the single cab with a mattress in the back! _________________ John

One of the Buskatiers I know, has a split single-cab.
His usual camping setup is a cot in the bed. Though he does have the whole canvas awning/cover thing over the back. You could get one of those tent-cots for yours. _________________ Dave Cook

Really, really dislike that exhaust I went cheap on!
Anyone have advice on what to go with for this 1915?

We missed it this year but I saw some of the photos on the Painters FB page. Looked like a great turn out.
Picture for pictures sake...Somewhere in Arkansas

This thing. I think it's Empi, might be Bug Pack. Either way, I hate it!

Not good! The fire is huge and keeps on growing, they only have it 10% contained. They evacuated a bunch more houses in Hermosa. The fire covers 10 square miles and is currently 14 miles from my house. Thanks for thinking of us! _________________ __________

Oh man, that is not good. I remember just a few years back the Missionary Ridge fire almost took out the town. Is Bubba OK?

Here are a couple of upcoming projects! a 70 Sunroof deluxe with plenty of rust ( I have all the replacement sections ) and 68 Westy with the ass-end cut out ( but very little rust). I'm collecting parts and the 70 is at least a roller. The rubber seals alone are gonna hurt the wallet.

I moved the Westy with a $80 HF cart, tore it up pretty bad on rough ground. But it worked! My goal is to get the Westy up and rolling by Fall, I will convert to later "narrow" 5 pattern as I already have that up front ( a 71 beam notched to fit early pattern ). These will more than likely be my last Bus projects. I'm starting to feel age creeping in and I'm outta parts.

All right then!!! Its my goal to have my 71 Westy rolling by July 1. Just in time for the mid summer VW event push.
Hope to see you behind the wheel of that thing next summer.
