Congrats! I've never seen a flat black Barndoor with 16" moon discs, should be pretty dope though.

Score on the rear kick panel being there.

I'm pretty sure that wheel will hammer-buff out

Yeah Christmas came early with some snow flakes. Very Happy

What do you guys think about the paint on that rim? It looks a little light to be brown beige. On the other hand, the darkness seems to vary a lot when I look through the gallery.

Examples:

Look dark

One's on right look light (left is different color altogether)

I think that one's the worst in terms of dents. I hope it does hammer out because I expect they are date matched (haven't checked).

Lance, glad you made it home with the bus. dont loose that cargo door hinge screw. Its always nice to find some unexpected surprises in a bus you buy.

Awesome buy Lance. Can't wait to see more pics. Were any of the motors the original to the bus?

No buyers regret on this one for sure. Very Happy

There are a few more interior pics in my gallery. I'll get some more up next week as I get things unpacked. Unfortunately the original engine wasn't on the property. There is a fairly complete bug 36 in the bus so that's a good start.

Hard to tell in that one photo for me - it mostly looks like surface rust mixed with green.

I agree.

Looks like it was under detritus almost to the axle nut for quite some time.

I see what your talking about next to the lug nuts but yours looks lighter than brown beige.

Yes that's what I was referring to. We rubbed a section of it and it got darker so I think it just lightens a lot when it oxidizes.

I like j.'s optimism. Smile

TouchNicksThing donated his New Years and helped me move the bus into its new home. Thanks Nick! Afterwards we dug through the stuff in the back of the bus.

Under the parts we found the rear seat bottom relatively intact. The remains of the headliner are laying on the seat bottom.

Some more pics. The rear shelf cover caused quite a stir.
