Does anyone know where to find the clamp for a BN4 heater exhaust? Was hoping this would be similar to the Jtube clamps, but no luck there. |

Hi All, been a while.
Since we last talked I’ve gotten rid of the rail and put the parts from the engine to use in a 2276 (built by Bugformance Sacramento). I’m running the A1 Thing header and muffler, more on that below.
I’ve got the engine in and running. I’m excited to get the car rolling again, it’s been a year and a half.
I’m now converting the car back from 4 Lug (Ghia disc front, type 3 drums I think) to wide 5 with AC industries front and rear disc kits (w/ ebrake).
I’m in the process of installing the passenger rear rotor and caliper. I’m starting to get concerned that the muffler and caliper are going to interfere as it articulates up. Has anyone else run the A1 with AC industries rear discs? I’m going to get it together and jack the trailing arm up and down and see what happens but would love to hear from anyone else that’s got this combo.

Back at it. Moved to Dallas for a new gig a year back. As of July, split off to start my own biz, all is well on that front.
Thing is running and driving after 2 years. Disc brakes are sorted front and rear. I actually had two of the threads on the rotors come out, presumably due to over-tightening? I’ll be drilling and tapping to 14mm with step down studs to 12mm, but will ultimately invest in press-in studs.
Running straight pipe from the A1 performance header temporarily due to the caliper/muffler interference issue. This 2276 wants to rip, can’t wait to get after it once I’ve got it fully tuned and broke in a bit.
Next up, passenger rear pan, BN4 troubleshooting, DasTank Bikini install, rocker patch (I’ve got a friend for that) and straightening out the front apron.
