I tried by squeezing the sides and pulling down, is that the correct way?.....like I said I'm afraid of breaking it with my luck.... |

Yup..we have a winner..2 switches, one to center bulb the other to the two outside bulbs. So 1, 2 or 3 bulbs lit. |

I squeeze a tiny flat blade screwdriver between the housing and the cover and gently pry.. |

That's funny....I have a hard time keeping my cover on!
This looks interesting. I have been considering changing my light. Maybe getting a second and re-wiring is the way to go. _________________ 89 Tristar Syncro Doka - White

There must be a dozen different way to do this. I had an extra westy light so I swapped the end with a switch
to make a housing with 2 switches. Looks stock and wiring is quite simple.
I have a few friends who went the high output LED way and I love the light when you need it but to enjoy a cup of tea
with company it's too much so this is what I came up with.

I absolutely want to do this. Anyone have any sources for good warm warm LEDs and specs/diagrams for wiring them up? _________________ 88 Vanagon Westy w/ 2200cc + manual trans |
