While this is just open, I noticed in the link that Olympic L51p wasn't there (or I missed it) I tried searching in the paint/ body and couldn't find the formula - any help?
Also - gobi beige looks very good on a ghia! _________________ 1973 karmann ghia - current, not the last VW.

On the Glasurit Site there is the modern code
VOLKSWAGEN L80K 1967-1979
GOBIBEIGE
Glasurit Line 68 Step: 1/1
Pos# Base Code 200 g 0,5 l 1 l 2 l 3 l
1 M035 53,2 152,3 304,5 609,0 913,5
2 T100 76,8 372,2 744,3 1488,5 2232,8
3 T002 44,5 499,7 999,3 1998,5 2997,7
4 T900 15,9 545,3 1090,4 2180,7 3271,1
5 T311 9,7 573,1 1145,9 2291,8 3437,7
Formula Date: 21-MAR-2005 MSDS: AD6801 AD7801 Price Code: I
Its a bit tricky to read because I can't format the columns in html.
there are seven columns
Pos# then Base Code. After that are the weights required to produce 200 grams, 0.5Kg, 1Kg, 2Kg and 3Kg.
Oh and the numbers are in European format, meaning the commas are decimals.
Claro?

So much for keeping your new color scheme a big secret until the Ghia has been painted in February.
... or are you just asking about Gobi Beige formula for "a friend of yours"?

As clear as mud, Nicholas, but I'm sure the paint guy will sort it out. _________________ Festina lente - hasten slowly
