I am not going to do either of those but you are welcome to vote or post your opinion.
Dumping them in another category would be confusing.
Requiring a price:
This has come up before multiple times. Even if I required a price, people would just put $1 or something dumb like that, same as you see elsewhere.
Craigslist, for example.

Confusing for who? The idiot vendor who is wondering why he is not getting any offers? I think for someone with cash to spend they actually might get a good deal with a real offer in the offer section. For the flipper/used car salesmen who cares.

Confusing to everyone. Example - Now if you are looking for a 58-67 Bug, you have to look in 2 different categories.
This makes no sense.
The offer ads actually get tons of emails.
Unfortunately most are people just asking how much or people emailing who have an idea of a value that doesn't match up with the seller's thoughts.

You guys got me interested in how many Ask/Offer ads on on the site so I did a quick search.
There are approx. 75 in all vehicle sections
(86 came up but some have the word offer, e.g. $5500/Offer and some are wanted ads)
There 4425 total Vehicles ads as of right now. (WTB ads were excluded)
75/4425 = 1.7%
