Has anyone else seen the WW Okrasa dual port heads crack on the rocker shaft mounting bosses?

I attempted to shim mine to set rocker geo and they cracked pretty badly.

As it was likely the added pressure of the shims I added that caused the cracks to the curved rocker shaft mounting surface when the shaft was tightened down, I'm going to order a new pair of heads, but want to make sure no one else is seeing crackage so I don't waste more money only to get more cracking later!

On a side note, now that I've learned my tough and expensive lesson I'll probably order the AA 2 piece lifters and attempt to set rocker geo by shortening the pushrods instead of shimming the stands!

I found this out about 40 years ago that you cannot simply add shims to the underside of the rocker shafts of early heads in order
to move them outward if your rocker arm geometry is not correct. Naturally, the rocker shaft "cradle" broke. This will happen even
on stock 25hp / 36hp heads not only Okrasa. The added shim material that is added to the underside of the shafts forces the shaft
to "spread" apart the cradle and since it cannot bend apart, it will crack.

There is no need to purchase AA 2pc. lifters! Just pull off either side of the stock 25hp / 36hp pushrod, cut desired amount and reinstall.

I use my trusty EMCO lathe and cut 'em down to achieve the desired length.
