My husband took our ac completely out. Is there anyone who does a retrofitmof that style? I have none of the original

You could look through the classifieds for scrappers who sell parts or maybe members here can sell you all the parts.

AC is great but unless you & your husband plan to do most of the work yourselves this is likely to be a rather costly undertaking. Even with all the parts in place a reworking of the system (e.g. barrier hoses, parallel flow condenser, etc.) can run $3-4,000. |

you mean everything? - compressor, hoses, evaporator, electrical wiring?
or just the overhead air duct? |
