Hey everyone, I recently purchased a cheap E2000 fuel pump as a method of checking an EFI setup I installed on my 81 air cooled vanagon. I've seen these pumps run up to about 70 psi if not more and I was wondering if our Fuel Pressure Regulator would be overloaded by this high of an output? I've read that the FPR can handle double the actual pressure but wanted to double-check with the "experts".

Thanks!

Stock pump dead-heads at about 70psi, so no problem.

The wbx reg if in good working order should work just fine. Regs never allow max pump press as they bleed off fuel to tank above their rated press setting and flow.

Thanks for the quick response! Wasn't sure if the stock pump put out that much pressure.
