Not sure if that rotor would clear the stock '67-'74 front caliper. That's also why 4 x 130 mm to 5 x 205 mm adapters are iffy. Might be made for one of the aftermarket 5 x 205 mm front disc brake kits. _________________ 1966 Karmann-Ghia convertible |

Sorry, I have a 73 Ghia coupe...
Aren't most entry level disk brake kits just Ghia brakes? |

I believe so, at least for the fronts. _________________ 1966 Karmann-Ghia convertible |

So I called SoCal... After being transferred and put on hold, I started talking to one of there employees... He said in a nut shell they won't work... Then said they only work with factory spindles... I said I have factory brakes he then said in that case they won't work... Very confusing.. Then the call dropped... I'll try again today |

If you do a search on the samba google above...something like..."4 lug to wide 5" I bet you come up with a boat load of info that may be more helpful than socalauto. |
Yea I always try and use the wealth of knowledge the internet has before relying on a phone call to an unknown source....
But I can say I tried again today and talked to a very knowledgeable person named John...
I explained my situation and he informed me that the brake rotor would work |
