Nothing big…shaping hard brake lines, installing gas tank etc. I have been putting some effort into one of my other Death Traps. Just got my V8 powered Daihatsu HiJet to a drivable state.

I think it would be insanely cool to move the cab forward over the front axle and build a flat bed for the truck.

Regardless, this is an amazing build.

Cab is in its final location, just need to trim off the bottom of the doors.

I am using a Lincoln Power Mig 256. I love it. I have had a couple of lesser migs from the big box stores in the past and had nothing but trouble with them. You get what you pay for and it was worth every penny. The 2" square steel in the photo is 14 gauge.

Started building a compartment to house an A/C unit under the seat utilizing a void in the frame.

The Steering Box and Brake Pedal Assembly are both finished and installed. Also drilled and tapped all of the cab mounting points into the frame
