1000 Highway 101
Aromas, CA 95004
40 miles south of San Jose
10 miles north of Salinas
CAMPING: Come out Friday night and camp over night.
This is a great casual event to swap stories and buy parts!
As with the past years, all admissions fees are collected and set by Red Barn management. But prices expected to be the
same as last year-
$10 to camp and swap
$3 for entrance/parking
DRIVING NOTE:
AS OF THIS POSTING...
Access to the Red Barn is improved with a brand new overpass at San Juan Road. As of 2/115/15 those of you coming down South on HWY 101 (from San Jose), No Problem!! Those of you coming FROM the south, they are still finishing the off ramp, but I expect it to be done by the show.
This is great news and it will be 1000% safer than before.
RAIN OR SHINE --
SEE YOU AT THE RED BARN!!

I was down there about a month ago and it was no where near being completed. So, we'll have to turn around again into traffic............yuck. |

It's funny if you read about the Prunedale Project, it's 90% complete! _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.

Just like a VW project... 90% complete means you have 90% of the money and time left to spend. _________________ How to Post Photos

There is an exit on both the southbound and northbound 101.
The Southbound (coming from San Jose/Gilroy), you'll exit the offramp, then make a left onto the overpass of 101, then right towards the Red Barn.
Northbound (coming up Salinas), you'll exit the offramp, make a right turn and another right turn towards the Red Barn.
I'll try to take pictures of the exits/off ramps as lately I've been driving down to the Salinas/Soledad/King City these past few weeks. _________________ Jim Kikuchi

I have finally got video of the Red Barn exits from both the southbound and northbound Hwy 101.
Southbound 101 (coming from San Jose/Gilroy) - Exit at the San Juan Road (Exit 342), left turn at the stop sign onto Frontage Road, then follow the road towards the Red Barn.
Link
Northbound 101 (coming up from Salinas/Monterey area) - Exit at the San Juan Road (Exit 342), turn right at the stop sign onto Frontage Road and follow the road to the Red Barn.

How late can we get there Friday evening and still get through the gate? I've never been before and really looking forward to it. _________________ Brian O'Kelly
