Bought them used about 20 years ago. I think I've seen them sold in the classifieds here from time to time. I don't think they are specifically a VW item, but they are period correct. They do dress up my ugly wheels. I think they are aluminum, but I'd love to find a stainless chrome version.

By the way...I've been looking for photos of original wiring in the trunk/bonnet. Anyone have any? I'll soon post a picture of mine. After trying to sove a mystery with my left turn signal, I am getting the impression mine are either extremely original or some past restorer was over the top anal retentive.

It is true that the gaskets for the exhaust system that are used on a 1957 engine are the same gaskets used on most any other air cooled VW? An ebay seller indicates that in his ad, and I'm having my doubts.
