after rebuilding my rear cage I have chewed up 2 rubber transmission mounts in 20 miles. The only change I have made is I went up about 1 inch on my engine mounts. Currently I do not have a strap on the transmission and all mounts are rubber. I have not been driving crazy just local city driving any solutions?????? Thx

Previous owner(s) did some so-so fab work at best. In addition the horns were sagging even at what looked like the stock position the eng looked liked it was angled down and there as about 1/4" clearance at best between the cv's and the horns.
