This thread is about Linda Lee, a Dutch 1962 Samba. My friend Pete purchased it in 01/29/1996, enjoyed it, and stored it until he was in the position to start the restoration process.

The bus has flag post on both sides. The driver's side post is out in the picture.

Here's the bus the day we disassembled it in 2004. It featured lots of interesting riveted repairs and typical "euro-rust" patters from years of driving on snowy roads.
