Finally, an update! We were waiting for some pertinent bits to be manufactured by Klassic Fab.
It went from swiss cheese to this:

I have always said its a small world and qith the internet, its even smaller. A group of us from Anderson, sc decided to.take our buses tonthe mountains today. We stoped at Tallulah falls, Ga. This guy walks up and we start talking buses. He says he has a 62 samba, if that dont get your attention, nothing will, we keep talkimg and he tells me he knows mrpolak and one thing led to another.
Pete, it was great meeting you and your family today. Looking forward to seei g this bus back on the road. Congrats on such a cool bus.

| Paul, it was great running into you guys as well! What a coincidence! I thought it was a mirage when we rounded the bend at the overlook and there's a group of 4 vintage busses. I love your 15 window and that OG interior! |
