Had to make my own to fit Super Beetle, but yeah, they are great, go ahead and do it. just don't put small crap on it, it'll fall through! _________________ 1972 1302

Interesting. They also show this one that says it's for Supers/Verts . I bought one a number of years ago that said the same thing (not from MAMO) but no way it fit on vert or a Super sedan so I sent it back. Anyone have any luck getting one of these to fit a late vert?

I've looked at several and sat in several cars which had different models installed. If you look closely at the picture of the one you listed, you'll see that it projects back past the door posts..........well into the interior. The one shown in the link below doesn't; I know the picture doesn't show it but I've sat in cars with them installed and it doesn't project in near as far as the one in your link. To me, that makes a world of difference.

Yes, it's kind of 'pricy' but it is, also, vinyl not bamboo. People tell me the bamboo will 'dry out' and become brittle in a short while.
Anyhow, that's the extent of my research and, no, I haven't purchased one yet. Hope this helps.
