What does the OG before the ECU(engine control unit) stand for?

Going to be a long day at work, my Digitool showed up last night. Meetings and a ton of work need to get done before i get to play. Sometimes being an adult sucks.

Do you also have an ECU wired for the digital?

You'll have to wire your ECU to accept the cable from the ECU to the digitool. Do you have the cable?

I do, the kit i bought had everything except a wired ECU. I have a soldering iron and the rusty skills to use it. Probably going to leave work early to get this ball rolling.

Well the wired ECU is in (my solder skills are super rusty) and I took some readings. The thing that has stood out is the Battery Voltage. Sitting it is at a steady 12.28V. While running (warm/cold/30 MPH) it oscillates between 0-13V. This doesn't seem right and I wouldn't know why it would do this.

Another thing is my 02 ground. Instead of 0V I get -.03V sitting. While running it sits from .24V to .53V. Tomorrow I'm going to read it out and see what I get.

Advice? Knowledge to be shared? The engine issue I have is a rough idle in park, loss of power under load with shuddering. Stalling when I slow down at stop lights, starts right up though.

We assume you have this.

There have been posts about the O2 sensor ground wire shorting out. I don't know if that's your problem, but do a search and see what others have said and done.

I do, thanks Tom. The battery voltage is the part that really baffles me though.
