Looks eerily familiar. My projects have always been that bad...and usually a lot worse!
Divide and conquer, don't over build, get it road worthy and improve later. That's my advice. |

Keep the gold if you can. I've always liked how that color looks on a buggy....it screams "60's"!
Easy to feel a little overwhelmed after stripping it down, because its all uphill from there, but like jsp says "divide and conquer", think of it like a series of small projects rather than one big one.
You have a very good starting point....have fun! |

I started out with more junk than that and made a driver out of it.
I just upgrade it every winter........
You have a nice body to start with. All the metal parts are easy to fix. _________________

[quote="BIGMIKEY"]Is that light colored plate I see on your tunnel a state issued VIN tag?
Not for sure. I had not been run in years and don't know much history on it. What is the difference? In Tennessee if it rolls you can tag it |

Would have been faster to install after market pans but I did not want the look from outside of pan. 1x2 sq tubing,14ga sheet metal and blood and sweat. Installed bungs into tubing for the body to mount to. |

In Pennsylvania it makes a huge difference if it is a previously Branded title when you go to register it. Maybe not in TN. All the better for you.
Nice perimeter frame work.
