Hi everyone,

I'm getting ready to add the following:

- 1300 heads (with new cylinder covers to match angled intakes)
- Dual Solex 34mm Kit with Electric Chokes - Type-1 Single Port

to my big bore 40hp with the following mods already installed:

- 83mm AA piston and cylinder kit
- 1.1 ratio rocker arms on solid shafts
- extractor header exhaust with dual quiet packs
- '67 30 pict-1 on stock 40hp manifold

Anyone have a ballpark guess as to what the new HP figures will be, at the flywheel mind you?

My guess would be in the neighborhood of 50hp and that I'd be pretty much even steven with 1300s and 1500s, though not quite on par with a good dual port 1600.

thanks in advance - Ted

Stock cam?

Probably close to 50, but the torque should be much better. I had similar on an engine and it was every bit as powerful under your butt as a good 1600.

Should be a sweet little engine Smile
