The builder really screwed up with this one. Missing the opportunity to spell Cosmic Cruiser with a "K" would have set it a step above the rest. Now it just rolls around in shame.
A stunning, monumental failure.
Other than that, it is a thing of beauty. |

Out of the ordinary???? I'm in northeast Phoenix, practically in Scottsdale, and VERY rare to see anything over 10 years old on the road. Have seen more and more Teslas each month.... _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each. What’s weird, if I’m not mistaken. The Delorean was rear engine, not mid or transverse mid. The Renault transmission is probably the same one used for upgrade swaps in Beetles in Europe. Not a popular swap in the US. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

I wonder how many other types of car forums' members see our cars and post them in threads like this. _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it? True, and that Delorean had lines all over it, most having no rhyme or reason. Its almost as if he was still at Pontiac when they came out with the Aztek.
So many vehicles today have no flowing lines, just a mishmash like a preschooler trying to draw a car. I've seen better looking designs in the pinewood derby. |

Most of us on the forum know this but some might not realize why SUV and other cars look a like. Here’s a couple quotes off the internet. I learned this from a car salesman when we bought Xaties BMW SUV pos.
“There are powerful external forces that make compact crossover vehicles all look the same. Fuel economy requirements largely dictate the overall shape of the vehicle and the curve of the roof. And safety requirements dictate things like the height of the hood and angle of the front grill.”
“The first involves the engineering of front-ends that are flat and wide so the energy and force of a car that hits a pedestrian is diffused. The second reason is "drag reduction," so the cars will get better gasoline mileage. Aerodynamic designs require a flat front end and the raising of the trunk line.”
Next thing you know. The people in power will require everyone drive electric cars _________________ Keep on Busin'

"Aerodynamic designs require a flat front end and the raising of the trunk line."
Nice try from that salesman but no way. Any massive flat front end produces friction regardless of the trunk line. You know that if you have a van. A wedge-shape or tear drop has less drag. |

Many ICE cars look the same because most companies that sell to the general public need to achieve the same standards that a government entity determined.
Back in the day we had all kinds of cool cars with unique personality’s. Even the ugly Aztec, Pinto, K-Car, Citation, and etc.
Not all tear drops have less drag then a loaf of bread
