er, no, "MV" stands for "Meccanica Verghera", thus "Meccanica Verghera Agusta", "Verghera" being a community in the town of Samarate, Lombardy, where the first Agusta motorcycle factory was established.

Absolutely true that. My wife is "not tall" and the seating position was really low in that barge! Made taking her driver's test a real challange.

Christmas Eve day I was out side loading up my car when I heard an unusual motor coming up the hill. I should have had my phone out for a photo, but didn't. As it came up the hill I thought WTF is that? Early 60s design, dual head light, faded red, slopping rear window. Citron? Naw! As it went by I could smell the un-burnt gas. Sounded nice and powerful, then I saw the horse on the rear apron. A Ferrari, but what kind? Looked up 60 Ferrari's and I'm sure it was a 330 2x2. Like this, but not in this shape.

I posted it in the "what is that" thread. The people here figured it in about 10 hours. Always impressive.

Apparently 1947 Sayers and Scovill funeral car.

Recently, there was a collection of four of these for sale on craigslist somewhere around here. I don't recall the last time I saw one on the road.

I wish someone still made something like this. It seems noone makes a small 2 door truck any more.

http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/future-cars/a31079/new-ford-bronco-ranger-details/

Well, Ford is bringing back the ranger.

Is it just me or is seeing cars from the early 80's on the road rare as hell these days? I'm surprised any of those Rampages survived the scrapper to be honest. Can anyone really name a quality built Detroit car from the 80's when they were trying to catch up with the Japanese?

And all reports I have read say the new Ranger will be a mid-size, basically the size that full size trucks used to be about 20 or so years ago. Not what I want.

Rumors are that Jeep is considering a pickup. Hmmmmmm.
