I saw one of these yesterday. I've never seen one before. It was right behind me in traffic and I could see the double M over M in the hood ornament.

I met one of them rolling down a rural highway here on my way home from work a few years back. I did a double take, then questioned my eyes. Not sure who it was, but the then governor of California was friends with a very wealthy German industrialist who has a big spread East of here. That was my guess.

I have seen one of these....modern day gangster cars.....'cause you need drug money to afford one. Wink

The Euro auto powerhouses started using some of the old names on their ultra luxury marks.

There was rumor a few years back that Audi might start making some stratospheric luxury models under the "Horch" name.....which they still own.

For those who do not remember....the "four rings" of the Audi symbol represent Audi, Horch, DKW and Wanderer.

If I saw that car I would do a double-take... because of how ugly it is.

The one I saw was all black, but it definitely has an odd shape. That is why I recognized it.

I always though of getting an Amante and removing the logoes. They are nice little cars.

The dual dual head lights is what caught my attention first. Yes, an ugly car made by Mercedes. Who would have thought? It is their high end car.

Well after the Maybach debacle. Let's see something you don't see everyday.
Not today but this week. I spotted this Morris Minor in the parking lot at work. Since we have something like 16K employees day to day. I have no idea who owns/drives it. But it was cool! Notice the "twice" pipes out the back. Makes me wonder what's under the hood.

Yea the Yellow might be a bit much. But this was a damn clean car with a stunning interior.

Have Fun!

Don't have a pic but on the weekend we saw guy in traffic wearing nothing but shorts, shoes and a helmet on an E-bike skooter pulling a Little Tykes wagon with a set of drawers tied on it--not in it.

My brother had a 1961 Plymouth Valiant twin of that Lancer. Mechanically a pretty good car with the 225 slant-6 but one of the uglier cars to come out of Detroit. His Valiant replaced a 55 Studebaker Commander. The Studebaker was another interestingly styled vehicle.
