I'm running a nos 4 tip muffler left over from the 70's....it is in excellent condition, hasn't been on the car long. I'm thinking I want to change the exhaust to a nice header of some sort, haven't determined which one yet. Anyhow, I'd sell the 4 tip muffler, but have no idea how much it's worth...anybody have an idea how much it may be worth? It's practically new, in excellent condition....

Any makers' marks on it? I've never seen one that looks like two choppers double teamed a beetle. _________________

NOS
Sell it to someone whose doing the vintage-speed thing. Or just keep it because it should last a long ass time. Just don't sell it with the car. _________________ Wash your hands

Looks like it touches the rear apron where it exits - does in rattle ?
I bought a ceramic coated TriMil Hotdog muffler for my '70. You can use a filter pump with it, it breathes a little better, fits through the standard pea shooter cutouts and sounds great! Wish it were made of stainless, but I guess you cannot have everything... Cost only around $160 too. _________________ ~ No matter where you go......there you are ~
