I work in Middlebury right down the road from Otter Creek Brewing up here in Vermont. Mikes' brews are pretty good. His bus is sweet. And yes its really orange. We see each other in passing every week in the summer.

That's a nice picture. I love the colors on your bus. Cool Beer cans too! Even the architecture in the neighborhood is great.

If He is drinking Kind Ryde. Hate to see Him After The Back Seat Berner which is = 7.0% all day long. Just don't ask about Sessions...

Could be wrong but Otter Creek brewing from VT is on the up and up... If You believe in a Bay Window Vw's you should really think about investing in this company. I do not have any idea of their business plan, but Their future looks great. One of the best brewers with a promotional twist.

In ten years from now, Just remember me, and tell me thanks for the advice. This company is going to grow big.................Wait and you will see. Just remember who told you.

Rant:
I FN hate the plastic animal/Eco friendly lame ass six pack craft beer can
Wrangler (plastic holder for canned craft beer). Gotta be a better way!
As I told that to my buddy, he fired back with this little gem so eloquently put:
Extracting a beer from its grasp is like asking your high school girlfriend for a xxxx job on the first date. Awkward, uncomfortable, disappointing, and ineffective Laughing

They just got the Backseat Berner and Over Easy in Buffalo this week Like 'em both but prefer the Backseat Berner and since I was at the Beer Store anyway I grabbed a six of Fresh Slice. FYI the photo was for the Bays in Snow thread that much beer was the result of a long cold winter here in Buffalo.
Here's an Idea Smile maybe with some encouragement Otter Creek might sponsor a gathering of Busses. I would drive from Buffalo for some free Beer Laughing

Having a celebratory beer with 'george' after a successful test run with all his new parts.
He prefers an ale from 'revolver brewing' out of texas and i will have another homebrew, this one a pumpkin porter left over from thanksgiving. About 4.5% and ibu around 25.
Good way to end a bunch of work.

Thanks PLF-Blue for understanding my humor. It was crass and offensive. I hate offending people but it was just too damn funny not to share with beer lovers. Another thanks for getting this thread back on the rails with that pic of beer and George. I would love to try one of those home brews. You my friend, are a busy guy Wink
Ok folks. More Beers and Bays(photos)Some really good stuff here. HelmutofBuffalo, I've seen your bus in other pics. Very cool.
Prost!

Ah, hell. I have been accused of being crass and offensive more than twice so.... No worries. This thread should be like a dive bar of sorts.
(Honestly though, those descriptive words were pretty spot on and hilarious, to my embarrassment.... Embarassed )

And for more beer porn -
Here i am, enjoying another homebrew while daydreaming over past pictures with 'george' overlooking the northern california coast near mendocino, having this same beer and taking in the view.

This one, a brown ale - "the trib" - was brewed with a bit of brown sugar and molasses, almost 6% abv, IBU pretty mild at around 14. Used the same spring water that flows from the ground near our house in near unlimited amounts, while the rest of the state suffers droughts causing them to rethink watering the lawns...

Got plenty of beer with a Lager that we just bottled and should be ready in a week or so. Any VW buses are welcomed anytime!
